Rough sleeping is just the tip of the iceberg: 4,677 people slept rough in the UK on a given night in 2018. Up 2,909 people or 165% from the 2010 total of 1,768

Almost 85,000 households live in temporary accommodation, because they don’t have a permanent home, including families in just one room
Millions of households are denied the right to a safe home, or are threatened with losing it. More than 9 in 10 private renters who need a social home are unable to get one
